'City of London Library & Art Gallery Electronic' - COLLAGE . Much of the City’s wonderful collection of prints, drawings and maps of London can be viewed over COLLAGE where it is possible to search by artist, engraver, location or date – or investigate any number of different themes. Containing about 25,000 prints and drawings as well as over 1,000 maps from the Print Room of Guildhall Library, the collection is devoted primarily to London topography and London life from the 15th Century to the present day. All parts of London (not just the City) are included, as are the adjoining counties.
Visitors to the London Metropolitan Archives can use COLLAGE there - and search through an even wider selection of images.
